Concert and Carols at All Hallows by the ‘Sacred Wing’ of Gay Abandon

For several years now, members of the Leeds lesbian and gay choir Gay Abandon have given regular annual concerts at All Hallows, followed by Christmas carols and readings. These have been extremely successful events — the church has been full, the performances excellent, and everyone has had a wonderful evening. The concerts are free, but the audiences have given very generously, and significant amounts have been raised for AIDS charities.

This year the first half of the programme is a performance of Gareth Valentine’s 1992 work Requiem in memory of all those who have died of AIDS.

Everyone is welcome.
