Prayer for Racial Harmony

Tuesday 25 May 2004 will see every person registered to vote in Leeds sent a postal ballot form for the forthcoming local and European elections. The Christian community in the city has already voiced strong concern about the increased activity of the British National Party, but what else can we do to stop racism from dividing our communities?

Prayer for racial harmony will bring together Christians from many different backgrounds to begin a period when all concerned believers are encouraged to pray and fast for an end to the politics of division.

Tuesday 25 May
Time: 12.30– 1.00 pm
Venue: St. George’s Church Community Room, at the top of Thoresby Place

Sponsored by Network Leeds. Spirit in the City, Leeds Churches Together in Mission and West Yorkshire Ecumenical Council
