University, will introduce this evening’s topic, which will look at the
political, economic and social background to the balance of power in our
world today.

Banja Luka: Beyond Conflict
steps towards peace, prosperity and reconciliation
Donald Reeves will talk about the work of the Soul of Europe in Banja
Luka, Bosnia, working for the rebuilding of a mosque destroyed by Serb
nationalists during the war, and the project’s vision for reconciliation
and hope throughout Europe. Donald will also be leading the 3-hour service
on Good Friday at All Hallows and preaching at our Easter Sunday Service.

What is Jihad?
Professor Hafiz Fateh Mohammed of Al Medina Jamia Mosque will introduce
a discussion on the much misunderstood Islamic concept of Jihad.

Women and Islam
Local poet and anti-war activist Sitara Khan will introduce our discussion
on women and Islam, presenting a very different analysis of women’s position
in Islam from the one that is normally given in the media.
