Retreat 2003: ‘Enemy of Apathy: Images of the Holy Spirit’Kathy Galloway and Ruth Burgess lead our 2003 Parish Retreat on the theme of ‘Enemy of Apathy: Images of the Holy Spirit’. We will explore biblical and contemporary images of the Holy Spirit, and look at where we discern the movement of the Spirit in our own culture and context. Kathy Galloway is a Church of Scotland minister and currently leader of the Iona Community; as well as leading retreats she is a a practical theologian, campaigner, poet, writer, preacher and broadcaster. Ruth Burgess is also a member of the Iona Community, a workshop leader and a poet and writer. Author of A Book of Blessings, she is also co-editor with Kathy Galloway of Praying for the Dawn: A Resource Book for the Ministry of Healing.
