Auction of Promises for Children’s Project in Iraq

A big thank you to everyone who was involved in the auction of promises for the Nasariyah Puppet Theatre Project. The evening went very well, and we have raised £1,150 in cash and cheques and a further £845 promised in IOUs which would take our total for the night to £1,995. With the £800 already raised for the project we have achieved the target of £2,500 with some left over to distribute to other projects being supported by the Iraq Solidarity Fund.

Thank you to all who offered promises, spread the word through your networks, helped in the planning of the event, volunteered on the night, made the food and bought stuff.
